Specification & unit

Keep ore and concentrate tonnage separate from contained copper and refined cathode. LME copper specifications refer to Grade A copper and prices in US dollars per tonne.

Recycling question

Is the scrap clean and directly meltable or mixed and in need of refining; what yield, impurities and collection constraints apply?

Classification context

Copper is on the final US 2025 critical-minerals list, is an Australian strategic material, and is included in the EU critical and strategic lists. Do not call it universally non-critical or universally critical.
